In the accident, the driver of the 5t truck, Mr. A, in his 50s, was seriously injured and taken to a hospital in cardiac arrest, but eventually died. In the other two buses, 20 high school students were taken to the hospital for treatment after complaining of pain from minor injuries.
It is understood that 73 people, including 69 students and four teachers from a high school in Seoul, were traveling on the two buses on a school trip.
